glioblastoma in my fathers left frontal lobe- speech issues post -radiation

My father has a glioblastoma in his left frontal lobe; his 30 rounds of radiation ended less than 2 weeks ago.  Last week, he went down from 4 mg to 3 mg of steroids; that was a mistake and we have gone back up.  However, he has not fully recovered and his use of the wrong words and other speech issues have increased since last week.  I am worried the cause is tumor growth, not post-radiation swelling.  Does anyone have experience with increased speech issues post-radiation, and have insight into the cause?  Thanks.
